The AFA thanks Barb Summers

The AFA wishes to thank Barb Summers for her enormous work, enthusiasm and effort she put into Australian Floorball during her time as President of the AFA. Barb took on the role in 2006 and was hugely involved in helping the AFA become a more professional organisation and to achieve a number of significant goals during her term as president. We are very pleased Barb will remain on as Vice-President.

We also want to thank Andrew (Sok) Cathie for all the time and effort he put into the AFA during his time on the Committee and as Vice-President over the last 4 years.

Australian Floorball Open Roundup

The AFA would like to congratulate the New South Wales Floorball Association for running a very successful Australian Floorball Open last week in Wollongong.  We know it's not an easy task to organise, coordinate and oversee and thank NSWFA taking it on and doing it so well.

Mens U 19s World Floorball Championships - Norway, May 2011

After the enormous success of the Australian U19 team during APAC 2008, we are now beginning preparations for our next big challenge. Over the last year many of our U19 players have gone on to represent Australia at a senior level or become pivotal players within their clubs teams. Our junior coaches haven't been resting, they have been focusing on school development and younger players.
